Divine Knights ‘Storm’
Music Video
Storm from the album ‘Midnight’
Divine Knights’ first music video clip for their most popular track ‘Storm’. A two day shoot involving various storm production elements such as ‘glitter’, ‘water’, ‘lightning’ and ‘feathers’. This shoot involved the artists to sing at double speed while we shot at 50fps to achieve a fluid effect with the falling feathers and moving fabrics with their costumes. The shoot also involved the use of fluro makeup to achieve a ghostly feel. Conceptually the clip follows the pattern of an approaching storm all the way through to the eye of the storm and the aftermath (glow) of the sky after a major storm. Further to this on a second level, colour, choice of movement and costume through the various stages were directed towards the artist’s feelings about the excitement of a new relationship and moments such as first physical contact, first sexual contact and first romantic element of ‘love’.

Grow Up Australia
Viral Promo
Promoting an R18+ games rating
Espresso Communications wanted to promote an R18+ classification for digital computer/console games in Australia. With little to no budget, we devised a concept based on the fact that the popular game Grand Theft Auto had been censored for it’s Australian release. The idea was to create a in-game style trailer using the included in video capture software with GTA IV. Instead of an action packed violent trailer that we would expect we geared the content of the game to be G rated and a love story. Something a hard core gamer would not be interested in at all. The message to send was that the vast majority of gamers are adults and they shouldn’t be left with soft versions of the game they want to play.
The viral promo was shown through various media campaigns covering the topic when it was hot in 2009-.
